Qomolangrna (Mount Everest) known as tne "Mother of the Universe," was revered by the Tibetans for its superiority long before modern measurements were rnade. It is visible in all of its glory from the northern vantage, guarded by the highest monastery in the world, Rongbuk. You begin the overland journey from Kathmandu, following the overland to Lhasa route via Thingri, where the trek route leaves the road and crosses the grassy hills to Base camp. You'll camp near the Rongbuk Glacier in full view of Qomolangma, and visit the highest monastery in the world. After 8 days of trekking and exploring local villagers, you'll drive to Lhasa, visiting Shegar, Shigatse, and Gyantse in route. Fly back to Kathmandu.
Itinerary:
Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Zhangmu.
Day 02 : Drive to Shegar.
Day 03 : Drive to Mt Everest B.C.
Day 04-5 : Explore the E.B.C.
Day 06 : Drive back to Shegar.
Day 07 : Drive to Shigatse via Sagya monastery.
Day 08 : Drive to Lhasa via Gyantse.
Day 09-10: Potala, Norbu Linkha, Sera, Jokhang Medical Center, Carpet factory and Barkhor.
Day 11 : Fly back to Kathmandu from Lhasa.
The cost of the above program for 5 to 9 peresons is USD 1395/- per person and for 10 persons and above is USD 1305/- per person.

Day 02 : Visit Yumbulhakang, and drive to Lhasa via Samye Monastery.
